Private guitar and bass lessons are available on Saturday afternoons and Sunday from 12 to 7pm. Individual lessons are available for $31.25 plus GST or purchase a block of 4 lessons for $125 and you will receive a 5th lesson free!

Learn to play anything from rock to country and jazz as well as theory from beginner to advanced levels. If you have a favourite band or songwriter bring in a CD and start learning a song or solo right away!

PAUL LINKLATER

Paul Linklater is a guitarist, singer and songwriter. He has been playing, teaching and recording music in Toronto for five years and has a total of 10 years teaching experience. Paul enjoys teaching people of all ages and skill levels. His lessons can be about writing songs, learning songs, playing note-for-note rock solos, 12 tone theory, blues improvisation...or even just stuff like how to tune your guitar! Paul's influences include Red Shea, Pavement, the Kinks, the Beatles, John Fahey, Rheostatics, Graham Coxon, Dinner is Ruined, John Prine, Harry Nilsson and lots more.

PAUL MATHEW (Bass & guitar)

Paul has been playing and teaching in Toronto for several years. Current projects include The Hidden Cameras (bass), Live Country Music (bass), The Deborahs (guitar), and Exitman (guitar).

In addition to his professional experience in the pop music scene, Paul earned a Jazz Performance degree from University of Toronto for Double Bass in 2002 and continues to play jazz as a freelance double-bassist. Lessons topics can range from basic technique and learning pop songs by ear, to advanced theory and improvising. Paul's musical interests range from indie rock to country and roots music; from modern jazz to hard rock. A brief list of his influences includes: the Beatles, Johnny Cash, Radiohead, Queens of the Stone Age, Bill Frisell, Gillian Welch, Wilco and Feist.
